Jim....*Update*

I just talked to Jim....he's not coming home today. The tube in his lung is still bubbling so they want to keep him until they're sure his lung stays expanded and that he's doing okay. They talked about sending him home with a valve on the tube in his lung (It would have to be emptied each day) but he wasn't comfortable with that so they're keeping him. In the meantime...everyone at Northwestern University Hospital is taking excellent care of him....I'm not surprised...he's an excellent patient. He does whatever they say.... he's got a great sense of humor and he's a very "Patient" patient.
I asked him what he'd like us to bring him today.........he wants his Bears hat and some Starbucks coffee.......Grande Skim Latte..Extra Hot. And a cookie....he's feeling a little better.
