Andrea and Jim Playing....

I love this layout. It's really simple...I let the paper do all the work...and just added a colorful title and a couple of popped toys. But I love this layout because it's a picture of  little Andrea and Jim playing together.  Andie would choose and pick up toys while Jim watched her do it over and over.

How To Survive Winter.....

The things you need for surviving Winter:   Warm sweaters and jackets, hats, mittens, boots to keep your toes comfy.....and a friend. All the winter pieces on this layout were hand cut.....except for circles....I don't do circles by hand when a punch or a die does them so beautifully. The background papers are Doodlebug....the winter pieces are Bazzill Bling and Doodlebug.....the sweater is embossed and has brads for buttons...the boots are laced with embroidery floss.....the word "Necessities" is made with Doodlebug Chippers...all other words are made with Memory Box dies....machine stitching accents the edge of the main mat.
