A while ago...the Odd Bird Planet Design Team got an assignment to create Mail Art. I know that I've heard about it, but never really had a chance to play with it....so this assignment was fun and taught me something. When I thought of mail...all I could think of was snail mail...so I went in that direction and used the justjohanna OBP Plain Perch stamp as the snail's shell. Then I hand cut the snail's head and body. On the writing part of the postcard...I worte about a snail's lack of speed....and then decorated both sides of the card using the justjohanna OBP Dotty Border stamp. This was fun...try Googling Mail Art.... there are tons of sites to learn more about this art form.
Patterns are distinctive artistic or decorative designs. They can be identical, similar or wildly different...pretty much like people...each person has the swirls, dots and stripes that make up their own distinctive patterns. Welcome to my blog...and to getting to know some of my patterns.
