My World Card Making Day Paper Piecing Challenge...

I've been patiently (Well...okay...not so patiently) waiting for my turn to start my World Card Making Day Challenge in Paper Piecing. Since there are so many things you can paper piece...from the elegant to the slightly ridiculous...I couldn't stand to do only one example...I had to do two. So here they are....

The first 6x6 card is a Halloween witch and her friends....based on a simple triangle and using justjohanna stamps - Ghost Bird and "Places To Go".

The second 6x6 card...is a patchwork card with 9 black & white patterned paper squares (each square is 1 3/4 inches ).....machine stitched on...and decorated for Halloween with pumpkins and the vine they're growing on. The pumpkins are made by stamping the justjohanna "Plain Perch" stamp onto orange cardstock and decorating them with marker and black cardstock. The vine is handcut; embellished with punched leaves and brads; and a justjohanna "Boo!" stamp.

If you'd like to do some paper piecing...create your card....then post it on your blog or... click the WCMD button at the left of the screen and post it in the justjohanna/ Lime Tart Gallery for everyone to admire. You can enter as many as you like! Don't forget to come back here and post a link to your creation in the comments section of this post..each linked project will count as one entry. There will be prizes awarded...and it could be to you! A random winner from my comments will win a Limited Edition justjohanna image created just for this event. There are a lot of activities and challenges going on at justjohanna..... a Grand Prize Winner chosen from all of the World Wide Entries will win a $250 justjohanna Shopping Spree! You can enter your cards until tomorrow... Midnight California time 10/07/07. Thanks for participating....!
