Jim's Back In The Hospital....

My celebrating Jim's homecoming was short lived.....he got really sick again last night. This morning he could hardly breathe or walk. I called the doctor...who had him come in for a chest xray and then decided to readmit him...he has pneumonia again. Jim has been in three of the rooms on the 16th floor of Northwestern Memorial Hospital...within two months....I'm starting to know that place really well. When I left tonight...he was feeling a tiny bit better. They took him down for a CT scan....he was having the respiratory therapist giving him breathing treatments every 3 hours...he was hooked up to IVs for antibiotics and they were giving him shots for pain (His back and side are still sore from the lung biopsy on Friday. I know they're doing everything possible for him....but I want it to be more and faster...I want him well.
