To celebrate Andrea's coming 18th Birthday (On December 19th)....Jennifer planned an amazing Gingerbread Building Celebration at her house. Bags and boxes of gumdrops...and four gumdrop reindeer, pretzels, M&M's, mini chocolate chips, pearlized Sixlets, candy canes, sprinkles, mini chocolate bars, starlight mints and..... Frosted Mini Wheats (Because we needed something "Healthy" in the mix. Seriously, they make beautiful gingerbread house roofs! )
The artist of each of the houses (Right to Left).......Jennifer did the gorgeous house with the Frosted Mini Wheat Roof, Morgan created the delicate mini chocolate chip roof and the ice cream cone tree with green M&Ms and silver edible shimmer spray, Andie made the very detailed roof with white icing and red icing. Her ice cream cone tree was frosted white with mini sprinkles. My house had a pretzel, starlight mint and Frosted Mini Wheat roof.
We all ate our way through the construction....Andie opened presents...... and then we topped it off with pizza for dinner. An absolutely perfect day.
Patterns are distinctive artistic or decorative designs. They can be identical, similar or wildly different...pretty much like people...each person has the swirls, dots and stripes that make up their own distinctive patterns. Welcome to my blog...and to getting to know some of my patterns.
