The challenge for this week at Daring Cardmakers is to go back to the basics and use only Primary Colors while creating your card.
The card that I made for the challenge uses the Primary Colors of Blue, Yellow and Red for matting....and white grid paper for the central mat. The two little birthday birdies are made from oval punches and flower petal wings cut from the Silhouette. The sentiment "Happy Birthday" is a Memory Box Die...the Happy Birthday Garland. I just cut the garland part off of it.. Around the white grid mat, I machine zigzag stitched using varigated thread for added texture.
Take a look at the wonderful cards made by the designers at Daring Cardmakers....all in Primary Colors!
Patterns are distinctive artistic or decorative designs. They can be identical, similar or wildly different...pretty much like people...each person has the swirls, dots and stripes that make up their own distinctive patterns. Welcome to my blog...and to getting to know some of my patterns.
