The challenge this week for the Daring Cardmakers Website is....Cards that Spring, Bounce or Pop Up!
My Silhouette came in handy with a lot of creative files for Pop Ups. I chose one with three beautifully carved teacups that popped up when the card was opened. The first one I made was pretty but way too big, so I sized the card down. Kraft paper was the base for the card, accented with Graphic 45 "A Time To Celebrate" in coral, white and green. I recut the teacups using a bright coral cardstock and adhered them to the kraft paper to make them stand out .
Come take a look at the wonderful cards the designers have created at Daring Cardmakers and leave a comment. Everyone loves hearing feedback about the cards they've made.
Patterns are distinctive artistic or decorative designs. They can be identical, similar or wildly different...pretty much like people...each person has the swirls, dots and stripes that make up their own distinctive patterns. Welcome to my blog...and to getting to know some of my patterns.
