Here's a little witch ready to go Trick or Treating. She's got her hat, her best dress and her wand...all she needs is a broom to fly on. I'm working on that....
The box she's standing on is covered with grey dotted Doodlebug paper that was machine pieced by zigzag stitch with two different purple Doodlebug papers before being adhered. The legs of the box are grey painted wooden beads. The witch's tulle embellished hat and dress are hand cut and pieced. The lace edged dress is embellished with small purple bats with Mirracard eyes. (So is the tip of the hat). The wand in her hand is a grey painted toothpick with purple
metallic paper stars on the end. Her beautiful red hair is curled and arranged perfectly under her hat......She's all ready for Halloween.
Patterns are distinctive artistic or decorative designs. They can be identical, similar or wildly different...pretty much like people...each person has the swirls, dots and stripes that make up their own distinctive patterns. Welcome to my blog...and to getting to know some of my patterns.
