I hope that you're all having a good and peaceful Memorial day. It's really warm here...a picnic by the lake (Any lake) sounds good. Since I cancelled my plans for today because of water problems....the day isn't going to include anything really fun. I have a feeling that the weeds taking over my yard are calling me. (If I try really hard...maybe I can pretend that I don't hear them.)
My Japanese Paper Quilting Cards are done for tomorrow's class at CraftFancy...the theme for the May class is "Lamps". Three Victorian Tiffany-style lamps and one contemporary lamp. I just threw that one in for a change of pace. Which is your favorite?

These are totally fabulous.
I couldn't possibly choos a favourite! Each one is so unique and interesting. I like the little knob that sticks out the side, I like the base of the contemporary one especially. And what a neat idea for using that lovely Japanese paper! I can never bear to throw out even the tiniest scrap, and this idea for using tiny pieces will only encourage such bad behaviour :-)
